The Loyola Intercommunity Robotics Competition, better known as LIRC, brings students from underprivileged elementary schools together to learn about robotics.

 

Paired with members of Team 3408, teams of two to four work over the course of six weeks to prepare for a community robotics competition. With hands-on lessons on Lego Mindstorms, middle-school students will learn how to build, program, and use a robot.
