Gerry Cacnio

Gerry is the Head Coach of Team 3408, and he is currently a Physics and Computer Science teacher.

Ryan Abramowitz

Ryan, who graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in Mathematics, is a mentor of Team 3408 and is currently a Statistics and Pre-Calculus teacher.

Alex is one of Team 3408's coaches and a Geometry and Algebra teacher at Loyola High School.

Kim Nguyen

Kim started as an Electrical Engineer for Hughes Space and Communications. Afterwards, she formed a mortgage banking business and was a broker for 15 years. She's currently retired to spend more time with family.
 

Kim assists the team in planning, organizing, and executing goals throughout the year. She is involved in every aspect of robotics from purchasing parts, design review, and troubleshooting.

Kim has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from UCSD and a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School. She is also a member of the California Bar Association.

Robert Yaccarino

Rob is an Engineering Fellow at the Raytheon Company. Rob has degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and UCLA. He works with radar and communication systems, and assists Team 3408 in creating an engineering approach to complex multiphysics problems.
